General Season Information
PRR Cheerleading Season begins in August to approximately the end of November. The total number of games cheered for will be based on the Football Teams/Divisions, typically there are 10 Regular Season Games, and any addition games will include Pre Season Games, Playoffs, Super Bowls and any addition State Playoffs that are the discretion of the Cheer Team participation.

Cheer Squad Divisions
Cheerleaders are placed on squads based on their birth year, this will help with the total balance of ages for instruction and coaching. It will be the Coaches/Directors discretion to place each Cheerleader.

There are divisions that overlap ages and grades, it will be the discretion of the Cheer Director for placing Cheerleaders in the appropiate Division, when registering please add any information that is helpful in making sure your child is placed on the correct team. Please register early to insure team selections.

Registration
Cheerleaders registration includes: Use of the uniform and poms for the season. These items must be returned at the conclusion of the season. The following items are provided and the cheerleader gets to keep: Hair bow, socks, midriff, and brief. Purchase of shoes are mandatory through the league for $25.00 each pair. Please see coach for details.

Practices
Practices will begin August 1st, and will be held at Lancaster Park, and will go Indoors beginning in October. Average practices last between 1.5 - 2 hours depending on the ages and Coaches Discretion

Game Schedules
The Regular Season typically begins August 27th, Cheer Schedules will be produced once the Football Season Schedule is available.

A BIG Thank You and Congratulations to all the cheerleaders and coaches/volunteers - you all displayed excellent sportsmanship and were fantastic at the competition. Also Thank You to all the parents, family and supporters of the cheer squads for the competition, it showed and was appreciated.

Cheerleading Coaching Information
If you are interested in Volunteering for the 2011 Season please fill out the coaches application (Documents Page) and the Background Check Form and bring it to the March 7th PRR Meeting at Lex Park Library at 6pm. If you are unable to attend please contact Cheer Director - Tami Trent raiders.cheer.tami@gmail.com

All Coaches are required to have a Community Standards Background Check and NYSCA Training, if you have completed your NYSCA Training please provided your membership # and EXP Date on the Application.
